Mining transformers


Becker Mining Systems offers a comprehensive series of mining transformers. Mining transformers are for use in areas at risk of firedamp. The three-phase mining transformers are designed in EEx d I type of protection. Mining transformers are available at outputs from 315 kVA to 2700 kVA. Nominal voltages of mining transformers at primary side are 3.3 kV to 11 kV and nominal voltages of mining transformers at secondary side are 0.5 kV to 6 kV.

Mining switchgear


Mining switchgear is innovative switchgear with modular technology and plug-in connections, which redefines the concept of a compact station. In mining switchgear four module slots can be optionally equipped with lighting, single contactor, or double contactor slide-in modules. Each module of mining switchgear has its own disconnecting device. The operating parameters and tripping limit values for the slide-in modules in mining switchgear are set on the display and control units in the intrinsically safe terminal compartment. The compact station of mining switchgear does not have to be opened or shut down for this purpose. Mining switchgear has simple connection using plug-in connectors, reducing the installation costs. Due to the modular technology, typical of mining switchgear, malfunctions are eliminated quickly and downtimes are minimized.
