Rack and pinion trap rail haulage system


One of the Becker top products is the rack and pinion trap rail haulage system. Rack and pinion trap rail haulage system is ideal whenever man and material have to be conveyed rapidly and safely on inclined roads. Thanks to its proven design, rack and pinion trap rail haulage system does not go off the rails even when faced with gradients of 45 degrees and single loads of as much as 35 tons. Rack and pinion trap rail haulage system has advantages like more flexibility with the rail switches of branched rail systems and easy extending or shortening of the rail track. Rack and pinion trap rail haulage system is available in rail gauges of 900 mm. Rack and pinion trap rail haulage system has pulling forces from 120 kN up to 300 kN. To fixed plants – as inclined shafts or inclined road sections between two floors – the rack and pinion trap rail haulage system is the ideal solution.

Shield support systems


Shield support systems are used in long wall faces under all kinds of geological and mining conditions. For each widely varying application, shield support systems lead to a customized adaptation. Various shield support systems are available in two system widths, 1.5 m and 1.75 m. Shield support systems have support resistance forces up to 17,500 kN. Shield support systems have applications in steep stratifications up to 35°. Development of the shield support systems uses the latest 3D CAD technology.
